Lift up your heart is a reawakening call on scorers and performers of conventional Christian worship songs in vernacular and the English language

Lift up your heart also seeks out masters in the worship music forum as exemplified by some of the past transmission as this rekindles their mastery as well as facilitate the growth of another generation of talents in this dispensation. In its opening presentation the Programme treats Biblical lessons that will enliven its viewers strengthen them better even as they listen to the rendition

Jesus Christ in his early days when he was talking to his disciples about the last days warned them that iniquity shall abound and the blood of many shall wax cold but he that endureth to the end the same shall be saved.

He was not just talking about the problems they would face externally but the ones that would erupt from within the fold. Yet He encouraged them to continue in the faith if they must get eternal life. Take good care that you abide by this warning

Saul was a king by selection. The Israelites at that time wanted to be like their neighbours. There came a time when Israel had to seek the face of God in sacrifice Samuel the prophet was to perform the ceremony with him. But Saul was running out of time as Samuel was no where in sight so he took it upon himself to offer sacrifice to God. Immediately Samuel appeared Saul was blamed on his impatience and irrationality. How could he be a king and a prophet except he had been chosen. He had usurped authority and God punished him for it. What the bible says wait on the Lord and the Psalmist says wait.

Ahithophel’s Counsel.

The Character of Ahitophel is found in 11 Sam 15 v 31 He was king David’s chief counselor. When he spoke the bible account says that it was like he has face to face contact with God. But he was later the championof the rebellion against King David when Absolon decided to rebel against his father. It was Ahitophel that counseled Absolon to make a public ridicule of his father’s house by sleeping with David’s wives in the glare of Israel. David begged God to turn Ahithophel’s counsel to foolishness and God did. The next time he counseled Absalon he failed woefully. Loyalty was what Ahithophel lacked Please try to be loyal to friends and family.

Naaman the commander of the Syrian army was leprous and healed by the prophet Elisha In appreciation he offered the prophet money and other gifs but the prophet refused. But Gahazi Elisha’s servant would not see why his master should refuse all that expensive gifts. He therefore tan agter Naaman lied to him and collected some of the gifts for himself. For this his master pronounced the curse of leprosy upon him and his descendants
