ASSEMBLY WATCH is a 30 minutes weekly programme that affords the audience the opportunity to observe the proceedings of the state legislative assembly, the roles of the Legislative assembly in the process of governance and functions of the individual assembly members in their respective constituencies.

The programme serves as an avenue to bring the government closer to the people and is broadcast every Sunday at 6.00pm.

Assembly Watch Weekly Programme Synopsis ; 21st May 2009

This week's episode of Assembly Watch will be featuring two executive bills at the State house of Assembly

It will feature an executive bill seeking for a law to establish the Rivers State Traffic Management Authority. The bill was presented to the house . Similarly a bill seeking for the same purpose and which was co-sponsored by twelve members of the house was also presented to the house The bill has now passed through its second reading after constructive analysis of the merits and demerits of the bill has been ascertained.
